Happy to announce that the Rev Raptor’s [AP-05] 20mm Elbow Beam Guns are being expanded for use across more Zoids and will now be officially renamed the [AP-05] 20mm Beam Cannon Set.

This expansion allows even more Zoids to benefit from the effectiveness and versatility of this small arms fire Modification, ensuring they remain a valuable asset on the battlefield!

20mm Beam Cannon Set Cost: 2,000 Cr Weight: 0.5 tons Available For: Gator, Grounchar, Parablade, Pteras, Rev Raptor, Redler. Mounting Location: – On the Gator, a 20mm Beam Cannon is mounted on either side of the head. – On the Grounchar, a 20mm Beam Cannon is mounted on top of each of the 30mm Pulse Cannons. – On the Parablade, a 20mm Beam Cannon is mounted on the top of each shoulder. – On the Pteras, a 20mm Beam Cannon is mounted on the top-middle of each wing. (Cannot be used with the Bomber Unit). – On the Redler, a 20mm Beam Cannon is mounted on the top-middle of each wing. If paired with the Booster Cannons, a single 20mm Beam Cannon mounts under the chin instead. – On the Rev Raptor, a 20mm Beam Cannon is mounted on each elbow.

Dual 20mm Beam Cannons Weapon Type: Cannon Ammunition: None (Energy) Firing Speed: two shots per barrel per second.

These versatile 20mm Beam Cannons, dating back to the Chaotic Century, have long been a reliable Modification for lower-level Zoids. They fire semi-automatic, small-bore energy shots that, while not immediately threatening to heavily-armored targets, can cause significant damage with sustained fire. Though limited to firing in the direction they are mounted, these forward-facing cannons remain effective due to their high firing speed and energy efficiency. With enough hits, even well-armored Zoids can be worn down over time.
