Edgewood Academy. A school for the magically inclined that had opened in the early 1500s in Riquewihr, France. The school was created as a last-ditch effort to fight off evil in the magical world. When things boiled to a near end after the second wizarding war in the year 2000, Edgewood had decided to reopen its doors to the wizarding population to young students who wanted to grow as not only wizards but lethal members of everyday society as preventive measures in case war broke out again.
Edgewood has flown off the radar for hundreds of years, leaving it in possession of some important memorabilia and information confined within its libraries. Getting to it is nearly impossible unless accessed from the inside.
Students are trained to protect such sacred information from leaking out to the general public. Students are sworn to secrecy upon arrival and anyone to out the secrets found within the school’s walls are punished severely.
Edgewood gives its students a high level of trust, allowing them to work with poisons, explosives, Dark Arts, and more. Hand-to-hand combat and weapon skills are also built upon. Students will have the opportunity to even test what they learn on each other.
This place isn’t for the faint of heart. There will be bloodshed, violence, death, and the unspeakable.
