The Injury system and it's various handicaps have been fleshed out, and will take effect in all arena fights, event fights/hunts and any scuffles taking place in the yard from this point onward. Handicaps can stack over each other, Moderate injuries can worsen into severe or even permanent injuries and of course, death lurks just around the corner.

Rest, treat and preserve your dog's body to stay in the game longer. Or don't... we can't tell you what to do!

The energy in the yard shifts as current dogs display differing emotions at the thought of new blood entering their stomping ground.

After being rounded up and sorted into their ranks, they are left to wander about the yard and make their own way. If a dog is lucky or especially charismatic, during this time many friends are made-- and also enemies, as they learn about the yard and its inhabitants.

Waiting out or treating an injury before entering a new fight isn't mandatory; but it's not a bad idea either!

Upon completion of the injury system there will be disadvantages and handicaps for dogs that re-enter fights with unhealed injuries from prior ones, 'unhealed' meaning they haven't been addressed by a Yard vet, or auto-healed with a shop item beforehand. The odds of a chronically battered dog winning will shrink with each passing fight-- but will never be completely zero!
