REDWATER has never had much luck with sports. Nothing ever impressed anyone, and they don’t win. A hockey team was implemented to try and save their sports funding, and it was a success.
BOTH the girl’s and boy’s teams are phenomenal. This year, they’ve been invited to a national tournament across the country. The entire town is rooting for them, knowing that this will be their first big thing in decades.
THE teams never make it to the tournament. The airport can’t get ahold of the pilot. It’s the middle of winter and they’re crashed out in the wilderness. Some of the players don’t make it out of the crash alive, and most are injured badly.
