Why Quran alone?
It's well known that any written text will always be subjected to the Author's preferences. In other words, chosen words and terms are subjective to how the Author of the text use/understand them. If a reader comes across those words he would never be able to reach same conclusions of the definitions of the words unless the Author have allowed the reader access to his concepts and conclusions.
