In this channel, we'll get the community's feedback on implementing changes to the server. This system is a means by which new channels will be added to the server and allows for members to play a more active role in the development of the server through Admins, as well as have a say in what is added!
#❓ How it works
- 2 users initially suggest a game. e.g Minecraft! (through a ticket)
- After the two users have suggested the same game, an Admin will begin the voting process in #💭｜category-voting.
- If 5+ votes are obtained in favour of the game, the admins will create a category for that game where players may socialise, participate in events, stay up to date with game updates and much much more!
- If 5+ votes aren't obtained within 2 weeks, the game is not added and requires 1 month before being re-suggested.
Nice and simple! In order to be notified whenever a category voting poll is announced, navigate to #Channels & Roles and select the "Category Voter" role! We promise it's worth it. :)
🔐 Key Points
- In order for someone to suggest a category, there'll need to be **2+ **people who initially suggest it.
- **Anyone **can suggest any game and after meeting the criteria at the time for the voting (currently 5+ votes by the community) the admins will attempt to setup a category for that game type.
- These categories will be role-locked, meaning users will have to opt-in in order to gain access to the respective categories. (like archive access, needs a role to view. Same idea but for game categories).
💙 These categories will host a variety of channels including game updates (if applicable), giveaways, chat, media and anything else specific for that game. Additional channels for categories can be suggested via #❗｜suggestions!
