Otaku Archivist Cult is a welcoming, friendly and inclusive community for fans of Japanese media. We primarily discuss light novels, manga, anime, video games and anything else pertaining to East Asian media in a relaxed atmosphere. Join us to make new friends and discover new series to enjoy in your favourite medium.
We also have group activities to take part in, such as a book club where we pick a manga or light novel to discuss as a group!
For our first book club event of the year we’re going to be reading and discussing The Guy She Was Interested In Wasn't A Guy At All! Our discussion thread is now open and a voice chat will be held at the end of the month for anyone who wishes to take part.
It's Pride Month! To celebrate we're hosting an LGBT theme for our book club where we'll be reading The Summer You Were There, a manga series published by Seven Seas and created by mangaka Yuama.
Submissions are also currently open for our July theme: Summer Adventures. We're taking nominations for manga or light novels that fit the theme and will read the title with the most votes as our July activity.
For the server bookclub, we're going to be reading the manga series The Masterful Cat is Depressed Again!
Voting is also open for our June theme: LGBTQA+. Selected in celebration of Pride Month, come join us and help pick what we'll be reading together.
