As we close out on 2024, I want to personally say that I hope all had a wonderful holiday season and a prosperous year! In 2025, we will continue to expand and grow as a community, and I have a plethora of different events planned for the upcoming year that you're sure to enjoy.
We already have a few game nights scheduled, with a Jackbox Games event kicking off our game nights on Friday January 3rd. Our first official movie night [Disney's "Zootopia" (2016)] is this upcoming Sunday January 5th starting at 5:30PM MST, and soon after that we will begin voting on the next upcoming movie for movie night! Several more game nights and events are already being planned and posted, and that's just the start of our plans for community engagement!
As we gather more members and continue to grow together, we have plans to launch semi-regular, though albeit more casual and random in nature, VRChat oriented meetups and worldhops! These meetups will be taking place in worlds that are both PC and Quest compatible so everyone can join us for the fun! Even if you don't own a headset, VRChat is totally free and allows you to play on desktop with your headset-wearing pals without issue! We will potentially be hosting VRC exclusive movie nights as well in the future if the VRChat meetups become a more popular occurrence.
We've also added a couple of more fun features to the server, such as a birthday bot, so users can input their birthday in our #botspam channel and get a special birthday announcement posted to our announcements channel fellow citizens can help them celebrate! We are still new and growing, so please pardon our dust and lack of activity upon joining. We are eager to grow despite this, and with your help we can become a flourishing, active community!
