It was always about power in the city of Osleka. And at the center of it all was the Bastion family. Power hungry and corrupt. They were the most feared and well respected family in the city, no one wanted to mess with Adlai Bastion. For years, the Bastion family ruled the city, the cops under their payroll and parts of the city became rough due to all the crime. Nothing happened in the city without Adlai knowing about it. Adlai soon had two children, Orion and Lyra, his wife dying under mysterious circumstances which left him to raise his children alone. He raised his children in the ways of his business, with the intention of one of them taking over. But, he wanted his son to take over, since he was the only male heir. But Orion didn't want to run the family business, rebelling against what Adlai wanted. Adlai grew sick. Orion had left his family three years prior, leaving the family business to be run by Lyra, who successfully took over the business, ruling Osleka with an iron fist.
