King Jaehaerys, third of his name is the current sovereign of the realm. However, his position was not given to him by birth right or conquest, but rather tragedy and sorrow. With his elder brothers lost to regicide at the hand of his Blackfyre cousins, it was Jaehaerys left as the rightful ruler of The Seven Kingdoms.
Yet, the legitimacy of Jaehaerys' reign has not been universally embraced within the realm. There exists a faction whose dissenting murmurs echo with an undertone of disdain, believing the Blackfyres to be better suited to the seat their King reluctantly sat upon.
